The surgery, in conjunction with the Patient Information Panel, raises funds to buy items of medical equipment for the practice.
Patients at the Kenyon Medical Centres have been donating books to the library at both sites. Anyone visiting the practice can purchase the books for 30 pence each, with many people bringing them back when they have finished reading them.
Since the start of this scheme we have purchased two hydraulic couches, one spirometer, pulse oximeter to measure oxygen levels in the blood and a hyfrecator for use in various skin conditions and new wipe clean waiting room chairs.
We are currently looking to purchase children’s books for the waiting room.
